High Protein Veggie Burger

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of white onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of Portobello mushrooms finely chopped
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 1 cups of black beans
  • 3/4 cup of cooked whole wheat rice
  • 3/4 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of cooked corn
  • 1/4 cup Whole Earth & Sea 100% Fermented Organic Greens (unflavored)
  • 1/3 cup of crumbled feta cheese
  • 3 tbsp of parsley finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Sauté the onions and the mushrooms in the olive oil until transparent (around 3 minutes) and let cool
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix them until well incorporated and season with salt and pepper to taste
  3. Divide mixture into 5 portions and form each one into a burger shape
  4. Place burgers in a baking sheet, cover with saran wrap, and place them in the fridge to harden (about 30 minutes)
  5. After the burgers have harden, cook the burgers in a frying pan until golden brown on each side (about 4 minutes per side)
  6. Form into a hamburger with your favorite toppings. Suggestions: avocado, onions and tomatoes.
